Terms & Conditions

Dynamic Decor Terms & Conditions

Last updated: March 10, 2026

1. Definitions

“We”, “us”, “our” means Dynamic Decor.

“You”, “the client”, “the customer”, “your” means the person or organisation requesting our services and entering into this contract.

2. Contract Formation

  • The final written quotation (or accepted estimate) forms the contract for the exact work and price agreed.
  • Verbal agreements are not binding unless confirmed in writing.
  • Acceptance of the quote (electronically, verbally, or by commencement of work) signifies full acceptance of these terms.
  • Please check your quotation carefully before acceptance.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms are stated in each quotation.
  • A deposit may be required before work starts.
  • Stage payments (if applicable) are detailed in the quotation.
  • For day-rate work: standard rate applies Monday–Friday normal hours; premium rates apply for Saturdays, bank holidays, evenings or out-of-hours. Invoices show labour, materials and sundry items (e.g., specialist access hire).
  • Full payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed.
  • Late payment may result in legal proceedings.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Remove all valuable, fragile or electrical items from work areas before we start.
  • Provide access to electrical power, water and toilet facilities where reasonably possible.
  • Arrange removal/reinstatement of radiators if required (we will advise during survey).
  • Arrange road closures or pavement licences if needed (and pay for them).
  • Ensure site is free of asbestos; if suspected, removal must be by a qualified specialist.

5. Our Responsibilities & Limitations

  • We provide high-quality materials used per manufacturer guidelines. We cannot guarantee materials supplied by you.
  • We match existing decor as closely as possible; if an exact match is impossible, we will consult you.
  • We cover items we cannot move, but they remain at your risk.
  • If items could easily be removed but are not, we are not liable for damage.
  • We may require lawn/bed access for external work; some temporary damage may occur despite care.
  • We reserve the right to refuse to move items that pose health & safety risks or risk damage (e.g., white goods with plumbing issues).
  • We may leave tools on site overnight; you may decline, but we are not liable for loss/damage if left.

6. Cancellation & Delays

  • You may cancel before work starts. If cancelled less than 7 days prior, 25% of quoted price (or deposit if paid) may be charged.
  • We reserve the right to postpone start date (minimum 24 hours notice) due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, illness, supply issues). We will agree a new date as close as possible; no liability for costs/penalties.

7. Complaints & Satisfaction

  • We aim to deliver excellent service and workmanship. If you are not satisfied, we will remedy the issue.
  • Raise any concerns by email or letter within 5 days of completion.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the contract.
  • We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control (force majeure).
  • We are not liable for damage to items not removed after request or for asbestos-related issues.

9. Consumer Rights

  • If you are a consumer (not a business), you have 14 days to cancel distance contracts under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
